This CBS video report claims that stress can cause dangerous fat to build up around women’s internal organs. It’s pretty interesting. Check it out:

Scary! More reason for women to stay active and—for the sake of men everywhere—RELAX!

While I appreciate the humor :-) I must note that I've witnessed plenty of *men* (including yours truly!) get stressed to the point where one could just as easily say "More reason for men to -- for the sake of women everywhere -- RELAX!"

So, in summary... "More reason for humans to stay active and -- for the sake of humans everywhere -- RELAX!" :)

Hey Matthew-

Solid point. We all need to take some time and just chill, especially my ex-girlfriends--eep!

Peace.

This brought to mind a study I read about recently in the Diet Blog, about curvy women having smarter kids. Maybe their curves are because they are less stressed and therefore more available to their kids emotionally?

This finding would explain a lot about me--a classic stress case over things big and small. My mid-section has held it's shape, though my thighs and hips shrank considerably when I started ETL! :)
