NPR: Mercury Content in Tuna
NPR reports a new study by Consumer Reports claims pregnant women should completely avoid all varieties of canned tuna due to mercury contamination. Igh...I saw this yesterday, too. Scary stuff. I heard about this years ago (about mercury and the dolphin issue) and I can't believe people continued to eat it! Why is it still purchased? I mean, it's been all over the local news and for years.
yeah, this mercury is scary. my husband is always saying "mercury makes lead look like food in comparison"
