FDA Blamed for Produce Poisonings

It’s been a rough go for fruits and vegetables. We had the HUGE spinach-E. coli outbreak. Then New Jersey’s green onions got E. coli too. After that, tomatoes were blamed for salmonella, but it turned out a SINGLE jalapeño pepper was actually the guilty party. Yeah, a lot of drama!

So, who’s to blame? The Government Accountability Office says the failure falls squarely on the shoulders of U.S. Food and Drug Administration—signaling a call for improved preparations against biological attack and outbreaks of food poisoning; Rueters reports.

It appears to be surfacing that the food-poisoning scares are intended to be pretexts for food irradiation. The piles of nuclear wastes must be getting bigger, so there's a new push to dump them on the food supply.
