Those apples $1.69.


More apples $1.71.


Super-powered broccoli $0.67.


My favorite bananas $0.89.


Gnarly onions $2.93.

That’s A LOT of apples! Just more proof you can find GREAT stuff in the “cheapo” bin.

With beef costing around $2.00 a pound, that’s a NICE haul for only $7.89!

Something to watch for - often the price of Manager's Special items in supermarkets are higher than the same items, not leftovers, than those in independent grocery stores.

Yay cheapo bin. There are some things I am leery of in cheapo . Make sure the broccoli is not turning yellow. Monty is a cheapo expert. You should see some of his hauls, especially the $1 ones.
