Happy Thanksgiving!

The lovable goofballs at The Onion came up with that list of Thanksgiving Day turkey alternatives. As for me, no turkey for me! I’ll be eating fish and a whole bunch of vegetables. After I run a 5k!

So, what will you be eating today?

Happy Save the Turkey Day! I'm making some good veggies to bring with to my parents and I plan on stuffing up on them. :)

I'm bringing brussel sprouts with onion. carrot and chestnuts. Also carrot, orange, cashew dressing. My sister says there will be a salad, maybe a veggie soup. sweet potato stuff[don't ask what else is in there, maybe portabello mushrooms and who knows what else. Her family is having turkey but she doesn't expect us to eat any. Probably will eat too muc, too much starch and sweets though. I did go to the gym this morning for spin and aquacise.

Hi Gerry
Canada's Thanksgiving was about 6 weeks ago, but I thought I would have a little bit of turkey anyway. I bought a tiny bit of roast turkey and surprise, it was basically a deli cold cut. Salt, salt and more salt. I am not planning to go entirely veggie, but I am less able to enjoy some of these foods that used to taste pretty normal not all that long ago.
Cheers, Steve
