I just found this! It’s the trailer for a new movie called Fresh, about people in small communities shifting away from mass-produced food to locally grown fare. It features whole foodie Michael Pollan. Awesome!

Although it is old news to me, I am going to see that movie. What I am wondering about is why there are so few people ignorant about the terrible way we treat animals and nature. Maybe more people will think about life now! Let's hope it is not too late!!!
not sure anymore that michael pollan is really all that great an influence. have you read his book *in defense of food*? i was surprised, but he actually has a fairly sympathetic chapter on the you-know-who-a-price foundation bunk. and he by no means advocates a fuhrman-style nutritarian diet. just saying.
but in general, anything that gets people to begin learning/paying attention to what they are eating (and where it comes from) is a good step i guess.
