Cats Love Celery Too

Last week we saw that some dogs love celery. So, it’s only fair to show how much cats love it too. Warning, warning cuteness alert! Proceed with caution:

Wow! How cool to find my video being used!

After posting this video, I've learned that there are many other cats that love celery too. I wonder what causes them to love it so much.

You have such a pretty cat. My precious baby too has just started eating celery.

They are so cute!

I just come home from the market and had my canvas bag on the floor with fresh celery in it, my 16 yr old cat started to roll all over the bag, much like your kitty in the video. It was as if I had some fresh catnip in there! She loved it, so I wanted to find out why and came across your video. It is funny, who knew? Does any one know what causes them to be so fond of celery?

My cat loves to chew spider plants. I used to buy them for her and she loved having her own plant. She'd sit next to it and just gloat. I was not sure if too much spider plant was good for her or not though. I don't buy them for her constantly anymore. So I started wondering if cats can eat celery with no illness resulting. That's how I found this video. Cats love outdoor plants and sniffing dirt... and so just naturally, {my cat is indoor only though} so it carries over to things like non-poisonous plants or vegetables quite naturally. I think they actually are happier not existing on just a canned food and kibble diet you know ?
I can't wait to see if my cat likes celery, I thought it might be close enough in taste to a spider plant which looks like just a watery chewing plant like celery is, kind of.
