I own all of Dr. Furman's books, and I read this blog for some time. It keeps my "mind in the game" (so to speak) with healthy eating. I enjoy almost all of the posts on this blog, even the fun asides that are not completely health-oriented.
That said, I do wonder why you regularly dilute your health message with messages that are overtly aligned to political issues relating to complex and controversial environmental and energy policy agendas. It does not strike me as wise to present these views that are not directly related to health as though they were part-and-parcel of a healthy approach to eating.
This forum, of course, belongs to you, and I don't mean this comment to dictate in any what what your content should be. I'll continue reading it even if I skip the more political posts. I'm merely suggesting that associating healthy eating with specific environmental and energy policy agendas may limit your audience of this really terrific blog.
