That broccoli cost $0.64.

 

 

Only $0.45 for this broccoli.


Yup, that’s A LOT of broccoli! And it only cost $1.48.

There are some problems with manager's specials. One is that the item is starting to get rotten or overripe, and that the price may be higher than the same item at independent groceries. So check for mushiness and compare the price with that of the independents.

Re reply to Monty. We don't have a digital camera/camera phone or have the foggiest idea of how to e=mail pictures. Today he came home with apples, nectarines and oranges from the cheapo rack... and cukes but they were disappointing.
