Yesterday was interesting, just look at that bizarre mutant tomato! I think it’s related to Swamp Thing. But the rest of the box share was pretty tame: basil, lettuce, parsley, zucchini, squash, green peppers, purple peppers, garlic, potatoes, cabbage, eggplant, hot peppers and more tomatoes. All good stuff!

I'm anxious to know what you're going to cook with your share this week, Gerry.
Hey Michele-
Good question. I gave a bunch of stuff to my mom, but I will probably do something simple. I am WAY busy lately, so maybe I will stew the peppers with the tomatoes and some garlic. Its simple enough. Roast the peppers a bit, add garlic and basil, stew.
Peace.

I got some chard and blackberries from my farm share today as well as lots of tomatoes. potatoes, egggplant, peppers, squash, melon and cabbage. We put the chard in a sort of a sorbet with some frozen berrries and fruit. Dessert.
