My Blue Sky Banana

It was a beautiful day, so I took the opportunity to offer my banana to the heavens. I think the blue makes a wonderful backdrop. Another photo:
Yes, I have a glorious banana. And according to The Dole Organic Program my banana hails from Ecuador. Here’s some info on the farm:
- Country: Ecuador
- Farm Number: 694
- Farm Units: Hacienda Pérez Quiñonez
- Location: Province of El Oro
- Crops: Organic Bananas
- Organic Certified since: 2005
Okay recruits. Let this be a lesson to you. Operation Banana Hunt is still going strong. So get out there, buy Dole Organic bananas, look up the farm number, take pictures, and send an email to diseaseproof@gmail.com. Until then, happy hunting!
Good Morning Gerry
I just posted to you about the same farm. They were new to me too. Keep lovin' those bananas.
Hello again!
How many have you hunted? There are 31 sources or farms at this time and we are still growing.
I am in Peru today, there are 10 different farm codes from this country. The weather is going crazy, it used to be really dry (only few inches of rain per year) but we had showers today and the day before and it seems it is going to rain tomorrow.
I will post some pictures in our blog later this week. Check it out!
I like your initiative.
Keep hunting.
Luis Monge
