Midnight Banana!

Last night I ran out of avocado. So, in a PANIC! I flew to the store and as luck would have it, I found a NEW banana. Its farm number 686, Ecuador. Here’s more via the Dole Organic Program. Take a look:

  • Farm Units: Las Tenias
  • Location: El Oro, Ecuador.
  • Crops: Organic Bananas
  • Organic Certified since: 2002

Sadly, there aren't any photos for Las Tenias, but don’t be discouraged. Keep looking for new bananas! When you find one, run it through the Dole Organic Program and tell me all about it—send an email to diseaseproof@gmail.com. Until then, happy hunting!

Congratulations on your Midnight Banana, but I recommend Morning Bananas, as in the diet program: http://morningbanana.com

It's working for me!

Somehow it seems wrong for bananas to have their own FedEx tracking number style system. What next? An online searchable database that shows the number of carbon offsets you need to buy before you can eat them, based on where the farm is and how many potholes are on the road from the farm to the airport?

If you ran out of avocado why didn't you buy an avocado at the store? Why would you be eating at midnight anyway??

Hey Sara-

LOL, who said I didn't buy avocados! :)

Oh, and it wasn't REALLY midnight.

Peace.
